If I have Firefox open and close the lid, it crashes every time I reopen it. Brand new machine running macOS sierra, never happened before on my old one using mountain lion. Sometimes the crash reporter itself crashes. I tried a reinstall and nothing happened. I did import my data (bookmarks, saved searches, passwords...etc) from my old computer. Could it be something corrupted from there? Or a plugin?

Plugins I have are: Flash, Silverlight, Acrobat, Creative Cloud, Bitdefender, Adblock Plus, uBlock, and Video Download Helper

hi, this may be a crash signature apparently related to new mac hardware. this has no fix yet, but is currently actively investigated by mozilla engineers in bug 1320048 - so you might want to follow along there as well...
