I had to move all my Thunderbird files to a new computer, and the application loaded seamlessly. I haven't received notifications from a couple Facebook groups I've been actively participating in, but thought everyone was busy from the holidays. Now I've missed several important group discussions, and find that I've received ZERO group notifications since I downloaded the new Thunderbird to my new computer. What gives, and how do I get these back? Nothing has changed in Facebook and my notification status is still turned on in my groups.

It is most likely they are in your Junk folder, but look for these e-mails in every folder and sub-folder in Thunderbird. Trash, Junk, Spam, Sent, Local Folders. Everywhere.

If you cannot find them, then keep in mind that when you don't receive an e-mail you are waiting for, it is probably not the fault of the e-mail program.

If Facebook would ever work properly 100% for more than a couple of hours, I would be surprised. I have my own problems with Facebook not doing things properly it is supposed to do, and have since given up on trying to solve them.
