I have Norton. When I open a new tab in Firefox by clicking the "+" symbol, I always get a notification that Norton has blocked an attack by Web Attack : Malvertisement Website Redirect 21 as seen in the attachment. I started having this issue about a week now. From all the websites I have visited, only opening a new tab in Firefox will I get this block notification from Norton. I do not receive this issue with any other browser I use.

Is there a reason why I have this issue? I have done multiple scans on my computer to ensure the issue is not my computer.

Hi, it's not unusual for malware to target the New Tab page, and there hasn't been any other similar reports which would probably be the case if Norton was throwing up a false positive, so you can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
