I get this warning after my Firefox session hangs for many several minutes...(or untiI kill the process and restart) chrome://browser/control/browser.js.18790 Firefox not responding

During my research, I find this is a VERY OLD problem and has NEVER been solved. Here is the previous (closed) thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1085379#answer-785813

I concur with some of user frustrations... Why hang a process with an unnecessary popup that makes ZERO difference???

Fix it OK?

Kyd

You could start by uninstalling 3 of your 4 reported and installed Shockwave Flash plugins, (uninstalling all and only reinstalling the latest would be better, if you need it) as well as the plugin that identifies as "1,2,1,2044", and update Silverlight. If all that’s OK, try to reproduce the problem, and if you can, try to reproduce it in Safe Mode.

Also, please try to stay friendly and not express your frustrations to users trying to help you out.
