Why, when I select a persona it displays until Firefox reboots then it reverts back to "Tiny Mountain Village" always?
I have gone to TOOLS, ADD-ONs, APPERANCE and clicked REMOVE for all personas listed (ones that I have previously used) except the one I want displayed. It displays fine, but there is a bar that says the pesona was changed with anj option UNDO and an X. I click the "X" and everything is fine for that session. BUT, if I close and re-open Firefox or reboot PC, the "Tiny Mountain Village" persona is back even though I removed it in APPERANCE. This is driving me crazy, (short drive). HELP.

Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts. The user.js file will only be present if you or other software has created this file and normally won't be present.
You can check its content with a text editor (right-click: "Open with"; do not double-click). The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
You can delete the user.js file if you didn't create this file yourself.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
I use ASC and I turned off Surfing Protection. Removed all Personas under Firefox Tools and installed the one I wanted. It stay displayed for that session of Firefox. The next system reboot had the "Tiny Mountain Village" displayed. When I opened the Tools , Apperance Menu, all the ones I had previously removed or disabled were back. I even reverted Firefox back to a previous level and the same problem. Oh well, Christmas is closer, I just have to keep it.
Hmm, did you read the article?
