I use the Maxa Cookie Manager. Following a recent update, while the program still seems to work fine, I keep getting an error message saying,

"Firefox is currently running. Due to unexpected behaviour, its cookies could not be managed. Please close Firefox and try again.

If this continues to happen please: -make sure Maxa Cookie Manager's Firefox extension is active and enabled in Firefox tools, Add-ons, Extensions menu.

-check whether your Firewall software does not allow Firefox.exe to receive local incoming connections, -check for an update of MAXA Cookie Manager."

the Maxa Cookie manager extension is now incompatible with Firefox following the same update.

Firewall is fine and I'm running the latest version of Cookie Manager Pro.

Any advice?

Ya. Uninstall it. Is not compatible with 57+ as you have noticed.

Is not a well maintained program, seems do what needs to to keep it running only. Not innovative that's for sure.

Suggest email them to find out when will be compatible with 57+.

Try this in the interim : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookie-autodelete/
