When I right-click on a download and select "Open Containing Folder" nothing happens. However, if I click "Show Downloads Folder" in the libraries menu a directory (and the correct one as well) opens. If I click "Open Folder" in about:profiles, then nothing opens even though the location exists. This is occurring on a Windows 2008 64-bit OS with build Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

If this still does not work, you may have to downgrade for the time being.
