Got email saying new Firefox; faster and safer. Did down load. Now every time u go online it asked for me to choose my web browser. EVERY TIME. This is not normal. Concerned I loaded a false Firefox. Is there any information on activities of this sort?

If you signed up for the Firefox newsletter, and the e-mail came from an address containing @mozilla.org or @e.mozilla.org it is a real e-mail and the copy of Firefox you have downloaded is official. Make sure you downloaded Firefox from https://firefox.com
