I am able to launch Mozilla Thunderbird but nothing is executing via mouse or keyboard, mouse hover/highlight works, but that is all.
I have only had the app installed for a few month, I would share the version under Help>about>XX.xx.x but it will not execute to launch the about info. what could it be? Do I need to re-install?

Do you see a 'Not responding' notification in the title bar?
Try to start Thunderbird in safe mode. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
Is there any difference?
