My Thunderbird software is not working properly. My PC Experienced a bad brownout, and now no matter what i can't seem to get the program to work at all. I have tried to recover the unit, reinstalling the software also. Nothing seems to be working properly. All the other programs are working great. My Firefox is working also. I don't know what the problem is. When I reinstalled the software it won't let me setup my account again. I also tried to setup a new account. Negative on that also. If its at all possible could someone call me and/or take control of my unit and help me fix my Thunderbird software.

what does "i can't seem to get the program to work at all." really mean. Draw a verbal picture of what you do and what you see that a 6 year old could understand. Do not worry about making it technically correct, just simple.

Does it open? Does it get mail? What it does or does not do is a clue to what might be the issue you are seeing. It is exceedingly uncommon to click on the icon and absolutely nothing happens.

One thing is that reinstalling Thunderbird is very very rarely a solution. It can however result in loss of mail is you are not careful in what you do.
