Unable to send emails with attachments in Thunderbird for Mac
Suddenly, I've been unable to open and view .jpeg files I attach to outgoing emails. I can view .jpeg pics when opened from the desktop, but the same picture when attached to an email, will not open. Instead, I get a new generic "page" icon on the desktop which has a string of undecipherable numbers and letter followed by the designation ".jpg.part"; this icon does nothing when I click on it. Can anyone help me understand what's happening and how it can be remedied?

do you have an anti virus product or anything else scanning on the connection for threats?
