1. Right Clicking INBOX and selecting New Folder, 2. input Name 3. Create as subfolder of MyDomain 4. check Messages Only 5. click Creat Folder

But NO new folder is created. Where else, or How else can we create a new folder. I have 9 folders I previously created under Archives. But can't seem to be able to create anymore. Any suggestions ???

re :Can't Create a Folder in Inbox

Your instructions that you were following seem different. 1. Right Clicking INBOX and selecting New Folder, YES 2. input Name YES 3. Create as subfolder of MyDomain - NO - if you are selecting the actual account name then it will not be a subfolder to the Inbox. 4. check Messages Only - NO I'm not seeing that option 5. click Creat Folder -YES

Q: What OS and version of Thunderbird are you using?

I'm using Windows 10 OS 64bit and Thunderbird version 68.5.0 win32. To create a new subfolder to the Inbox folder of an account. In Thunderbird, in Folder Pane: 1. Right Click on the 'Inbox' folder of the account, which you want to have a new folder created as a subfolder of the Inbox folder. 2. select 'New Folder' 3. Name: type the Name for new sub folder 4. Create as subfolder of: it should automatically have selected 'Inbox on account name', so no need to alter anything. 5. Click on 'Create Folder'

This creates a new subfolder under 'Inbox' folder.
