When I startup Firefox windows, The second home page after the pipe character does not start until I click on the second tab. This started with the latest version of Firefox

There is no way of knowing unless you saved the cache somewhere.

That was very good work. Well Done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem as this can help others with similar problems.

You can check the homepage setting.

Firefox supports multiple homepages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

Fred, Thanks for responding. It is my normal shortcut on my desktop. "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

You can check the on_demand prefs on the about:config page.

  • browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand
  • browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

I don't see a problem. Try using: http://www.google.com|http://www.yahoo.com

after firefox starts I see www.yahoo.com in the second tab. I do not see the Yahoo logo icon next to the URL. After I go to the second tab and click on the tab, then the page appears and also the yahoo icon.

I removed all by firefox cache. Then when I started firefox again the second tab did not work. I then closed firefox abd started it again. Then the second tab worked. Could it have something to do with the cache?
