Sent emails from Mozilla Thunderbird on my pc re not showing on my Android BlueMail sent folder, likewise emails sent from BlueMail are not showing on Thunderbird. My mail provider (Pipeten) say my email can be either POP3 or IMAP according to client settings, but from what I can see the settings on both are correctly set to IMAP. Any ideas?

Check the Server Type at the top of Server Settings in Tools/Account Settings. If it's IMAP, right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe..., click Refresh, and see if the Sent or Sent Items folder, depending on the naming convention, is subscribed. Then, check that the correct folder is selected in the Copies & Folders section of Account Settings. Of course, TB and Bluemail must both subscribe to the same 'Sent' folder and both be saving sent messages in that folder.

Thank you so much for this, I hadn't noticed the Subscribe option! Interestingly I have also discovered that in the BlueMail client the Folder Mapping was incorrect too. All now working fine.
