I have a my pictures file on my desktop. with over 8000 photos when I send it to desktop as a short cut and then send to Thunderbird mail recipient it opens fine then when I try to say it to the desktop from Thunderbird all I get is a white box and it will not open in desks top. not sure if the pictures file is corrupt or if for some reason Thunderbird does not save shortcuts of photos to desk top. it used to before the 68.11.0 version. i always worked before when i tried. I have tried different photo viewers ifran microsoft photos and windows photo viewer my default for windows 10. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird but it will not send the photo to the desktop

what is odd is that some work some do not not sure if the pictures file is corrupt or the photos them selves are. Yet if i send a picture from my pictures folder to the desktop it does open
