I upgraded to Thunderbird 78.2.2 and the columns in my folder panel disappeared. I used to display number of unread messages and the total messages in the folder panel. I haven't found a way to display these columns. Does anyone know how to do this?

Check View/Layout/Folder Pane Columns; press Alt if the Menu Bar with View is hidden. If that doesn't work, run in safe mode (hold Shift when launching TB). If the columns appear in safe mode, restart in safe mode, check 'Reset toolbars and controls', 'Make changes and restart'.

Bingo! Thanks! Solution right on. My folder pane now shows number of messages Unread, Total Message in Folder and Size of Folder.

Thunderbird is always the best email solution!
