Javascript non va aggiornato, si aggiorna automaticamente assieme a Firefox.

Se un sito ti chiede di attivare Javascript, probabilmente stai usando qualche estensione che blocca gli script di cui quel siti ha bisogno (per esempio una estensione per bloccare la pubblicità).
