Since update: Firefox prevented this page from reloading error
Since the update I've had a few issues, most I was able to fix but this one eludes me. Opening up various news sites I get the "Firefox prevented this page from reloading" error at the top and clicking allow does nothing. Anyone know how to get around this error? I'm not looking to totally disable the FF feature that prevents other pages from loading a different one, but just to browse the website after hitting 'allow'.
Thanks in advance.

The warning that Firefox shows when websites redirect or reload the page is blocked can no longer be controlled via Settings.
You can set this pref in about:config to false to disable this feature.
- about:config => accessibility.blockautorefresh => false
You can open about:config via the location/address bar. On the warning page, click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.

Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?
If you use a bookmark to access a specific page, instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.
I have used a bookmark (it's one of the 10 favorites on my firefox start page) but both with using the bookmark and typing in the url manually, I get the same issue. This is not for all of my news pages, but rather one that auto-updates every 90 seconds or so. Thanks for the response!
How about providing examples of the issue(s).
An example from using the hurricane page from the hurricane page of weather.gov - https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
Error is circled in red upper left hand corner
What do we click on to get the site to update automagically? Just going there does nothing. What OS? What version of Firefox?

Click on the link I provided. If you didn't get the error then you don't have the issue I am. Using Win 10 Home, current drivers. FF is 132.0.1 64 bit.

Thank you Cor-el!!! Immediate fix, and I wouldn't have found it without your help. I wish they will make it available via settings, so I can fix this without having to go into about:config. Saved for when it happens again.
Once again, many thanks!
