Bookmarking: How to stop adding things to the title while bookmarking

more options

Hi,

when I bookmark a website, for example "My Awesome Video" (www.youtube.com...), certain websites add something to the title. Youtube for example adds " - Youtube" so that the title is not "My Awesome Video" anymore but "My Awesome Video - Youtube". Is there a way, to prevent this behaviour?

Cheers Jan

I just saw that this is not a Firefox thing. It's in the source code of the site in the title tag.

In theory, an add-on or user script can edit page titles according to rules you define but if you are only bookmarking them occasionally, it's probably simpler to do a manual edit when you save the bookmark.
