Why is Firefox spamming me? I open it and it tries to update, fails, as soon as I close it, it starts an update, it won't stop and I can't use Firefox, which makes me sad because I love my Firefox :(

Firefox opens in a window that says please wait a few minutes while updating and than it opens directly to a new window that says... "The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer and than restart Firefox to start again. I exit out and it repeats, and repeats, and repeats etc. I don't even have to open Firefox for it to do this... I can't get onto Firefox and I'm really frustrated. Please Help!~
