65 pages and counting.....
When i open browser, 65 pages open up. Yes, 65 and this number has grown from 32 initially. I've followed the fix for the multiple tabs opening. My home page is clean, bar free. I've uninstalled program etc. Coincidentally perhaps, this happened shortly after i installed 4.0.

Try and start Firefox in Safe Mode. Make sure to check the 'Disable all add-ons' box.
If that fixes the problem look at this article (Troubleshooting extensions and themes),
Make sure that you haven't set multiple home pages.
- How to set the home page - Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' symbols

This can also be a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder
Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
You will have to redo App Tabs and Tab Groups after deleting sessionstore.js.
See:
Safe mode seemed to clear it. For the moment.....
It has cleaned up the multiple tabs, it went from 65 down to 2. Now it's up to 5 pages again.
I'm starting to think it's Roboform. I wonder if the others who are having this problem also use Roboform.
Regarding multiple home pages, no. As stated, I followed the other "fix" which addresses the | |'s in your bookmarks.
Thanks again
Deleting the sessionstore's removed 2 pages.... Now opening with just 3 (for now i bet)
