How can I drag a tab onto my bookmarks bar, like I used to do in the older Firefox?
My favorite feature of Firefox is the super-easy bookmarks bar, where I have several folders of my favorite bookmarks, and could easily drag my current tab into one of those folders, or onto the bar separately. Since downloading the new firefox, I still have my bookmarks bar, but I no longer seem to be able to drag and drop onto it. The only way to save a bookmark into specific folders seems to be a multi-step process involving clicking on the star multiple times, and finding the right folder, etc. Is there any way to bring back the ability to drag and drop onto my bookmarks bar?? I miss it like crazy!! Thanks!

Drag the URL to the Bookmarks button. You'll get the dialog box you see in the screenshot. All you have to do is to give it a name.
You have to drag it by its favicon incidentally. So if you wanted this forum page, drag it by the blue "mozilla" favicon.

Does it work if you drag the link on the Bookmarks Menu button on the right end of the Bookmarks Toolbar and drop the tab in the right folder?
You can also open the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+B) and drop the tab there.

Unfortunately, nothing is working. I am not at all able to drag tabs into the bookmarks toolbar, or the bookmarks sidebar. When I tried to drag one into the bookmarks sidebar, it just opened the tab in a new window. This is so frustrating - do you know if there's a way to uninstall this update of firefox, and get back to 3.something?
