You can always find the old version of programs in sites like:
For this case, you can find old versions of Firefox here:
Note: I recommend to update your version to 5.0.1. Here is a link:

Firefox versions 4.0, 4.0.1, 5.0, and 5.0.1 all have security and stability issues that have not and will not be fixed in those versions. Beginning with Firefox 4.0, all new versions supersede/supercede the prior version and the prior version is "abandoned" in regards to updates and support. Using any of the versions listed makes your system vulnerable. See the security issues fixed since Firefox 4: https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html#firefox6
If you will reply with specific reasons that you do not want to update to Firefox 6.0, a volunteer here will try to help your resolve any issues.

You need to update some plug-ins:

There are lots of unsolved topics showing the problems of FF6 that were not in FF5 that made lots of people not to upgrade to Ver 6 or go back to versions like 5.0.1. Please take a look at them and see if you can solve the problems. If these problems are solved I will strongly recommend to update to 6. But there are some unbearable problems...

CseC:
I have been using Firefox 6 since the first beta. I have experienced not problems. Most users posting here with Firefox 6 are experiencing problems with Add-ons that have not been updated, mostly 3rd-party toolbars. Some of those Add-ons will never be updated for Firefox (i.e., Google toolbar) and others are just late being updated because the developer did not use the beta testing period to test and update their product(s). There were no substantive changes between Firefox 5.0.1 and Firefox 6 that should affect the user experience. If you know of anything other than what I have mentioned, please be so kind as to inform the rest of us.
