No Add Ons are available and I am connected to the internet. How can I find available Add Ons?

Before the problem started I went to Tools and then clicked on Add-ons and tons of optional add-ons were available. I then downloaded and installed BrowserProtect 1.1.3 and went back to look at other possible add-ons and all I can get is "When you're connected to the internet this pane will feature some of the best and most popular add-ons for you to try out."

Try disabling that Browser Protect and see what happens.

I disabled it and it still happens. Should I go through the process of uninstalling the BrowserProtect?
