Is Firefox 11.0 for Windows 32-bit or 64-bit?
Is firefox 11.0 for windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit? If 64-bit - as it appears to be - is there anyway to either force it to run in 32-bit mode, or fall back to an earlier windows-compatible 32-bit version? Thanks.

Firefox is a 32bit application. It can run on 64 bit windows, and the development team is currently working on a 64 bit version of Firefox. Are you having a specific issue with Firefox that is causing issues with x64 windows?
Thanks for your response, Tylerdowner. After more looking into it, I think my problem is with Word 2010, not the browser.
Waterfox is 64 bit firefox
I am-if I have more than four tabs open Firefox becomes non-responsive.
ETA: Firefox 11, Windows 7 64-bit.
Will upgrading to 12 fix this or is there a version that supports 64-bit Windows 7? Thanks.

Seems that I must install 32 bit java to run java applets, would a 64 bit FF fix this problem?
In order to use a plugin like Java in Firefox, you will have to use a 32bit plugin with a 32bit Firefox. If you have a 64bit Firefox (not officially released yet BTW) you'd need a 64bit plugin.
I installed Waterfox 12, and it solved the problem I was having with lagging and freezing. That said, Waterfox makes available the 64-bit versions of the necessary plug ins needed on the same page that Waterfox is available and I've not had a single problem since installing them. Most Firefox extensions also work just fine - the transition from Firefox to Waterfox was seamless.
Is the Firefox 13.0 a 32-bit or 64-bit program? I'm using Windows 7 which I believe to be a 64-bit program.
