Mozilla doesn't have a release version for Tablets, yet.

You could try the Android pre-beta version and let us know how it works.

No, the 10.0.5 version of Firefox is an ESR (Extended Support Release) version which isn't made for Tablets or Smart Phones, only desktop / laptop devices.

Thanks for your response, but it isn't helpful to just say No. Let me know where to find the correct version that I am running and we can get something accomplished. I am obviously running a version of firefox, and would like to install that version on the newer tablets, which the standard app installation methods (i.e. play store) does not allow me to do because it says the devise is not compatible.

I understand what you are saying, but I am using firefox right now to view and edit this thread from my tablet. I first downloaded it when I recieved my tablet b/c of my great experience with the desktop version. I don't know where I found my version number originally. I would love to let firefox know that what I have is working. I would also like to have it available for our companies other tablets. When there is spotty reception, somehow firefox holds the data, and every other browser causes us to loose any data entered on a web page. What can I do to help?

I was able to install Aurora, and it looks like a chisseled version of what I already have. I will report back to the thread to let you know how it preforms. Thanks for your help.

the-edmeister, before the mobile Firefox 14.0 came out the previous Release was actually mobile Firefox 10.0.5esr as there were no 11.0, 12.0, 13.0, releases as they were Betas test builds only and for 14.0 it went to native Android UI framework and the tablet ui was still a work in progress.

Aurora is not as stable as firefox, but as a firefox homer I do like it none the less. I was able to find my version information for firefox, and am attaching a screen shot.

Is there any way to have the version I have in the attached picture installed on newer devices?

Try this. https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/nightly/latest-mozilla-aurora-android/en-US/fennec-16.0a2.en-US.android-arm.apk

The versions did a move/merge on the channels on monday/tuesday and I guess Mozilla has yet to update the link on the http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/aurora/
