NIS 21012 Toolbar will not work with Firefox 2012

Hi I upgraded my Firefox up to 14.01 and as expected the norton Internet security toolbar would not work, it still is not working, it says NIS tollbar is incompatible with Firefox 14.01, I have tried everything I can think of. could anyone give me any direction I should be taking to cure the problem, I have read a number of posts where some have installed 14.01 and all is fine and some are having the same problem as me.

Norton released updates for Firefox 14 early the same morning as the release of Firefox 14. Norton usually releases updates on the same morning as new Firefox versions. Have you updated Norton through their LiveUpdate?

Hi Thanks for getting back to me, Yes I updated live update, several times, Last night I decided to uninstall NIS and reinstall, that cured my problem all is now working correctly, why it should do that I don't know but thanks for the help. I thought after I posted the only thing i had not tried was a complete uninstall of NIS2012 using the Norton removal software then a reinstall.

kind regards Johnhrh
