How to Find Android sync recovery key
When syncing my Android phone to my Win7 desktop, I enter the 3 codes from the android into the Win7 Firefox sync codes and next it asks me for my recovery key from the android device. Nowhere can I seem to find this key or any mention of it on my Android phone.
Please tell me how to find the Android recovery key.
thanks

The Recovery key should have been given to you when you created a sync account, did you save it somewhere?
I created my acct on my desktop. So I found the recovery key I'd saved on that unit. When I entered that key into the sync form on the desktop that came after putting the 3x4 codes from my android and clicked the Next button. The recovery key I'd saved was rejected as a wrong key. I figured it wanted a recovery key from android, but I cannot find one.
I'm beginning to wonder if this sync is worth it.
So, where is the android recovery key?
Thanks,
Michael

The Sync Key / Recovery Key is used as the encryption "key" for the users data during the sync process and while on the Sync Server, and is the same for all devices connected to a particular Sync Account.
There is an add-on available for Mobile Firefox to see the Sync Key.

Unfortunately, the app won't install on my Bionic. Says, "Show SyncKey not compatible with Firefox 17.0." This is the only version of android FF that I have.
Then I tried the About:synckey option and got the same message about Firefox 17.0 incompatible.
Any other solutions?
I do really appreciate your help in this. I'm just confused about incompatibility and Firefox problems and sync in general. Seems that it just isn't working for me.
