popup
Why does the popup in the upper right corner appear even when popup blocker is activated and a lot of popup-blocker add-ons are installed. The pop up changes by the openening of a new page, and contains e.g. "Google Analytics" and/or "Google Adsense", and/or AT Internet" etc. etc. It disappears after a few seconds. How can I get rit of this most annoying popup?

First start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if one of your add-ons is to blame.
If you see the same or similar ads on every page you visit, even in Safe Mode, then the problem is probably caused by malware.
Some less-than-reputable Internet Service Providers also inject ads into the pages visited by their customers.
What you describe is not a pop-up window. For an explanation, see the “Hover ad” section of the Wikipedia article, or the Firefox support article.
You shouldn't install multiple add-ons that perform the same function. They can either fail to work properly, or cause problems. Adblock Plus is the only extension that's needed for blocking ads — but it won't help on a computer that's infested by malware.
I notice that I have a similar problem that occurs only on my Mac at home while using Firefox. I can open Firefox to my default homepage, but when I move to certain webpages that are content rich in their displays, such as Facebook and the Huffington Post, I get a square that appears usually in the upper left area with a ocean scene showing dolphins leaping in front of the ow of a ship. On the bottom of the screen is the kind of bar that usually appears for running a video, with left/right triangles, vol. control, full screen, etc., but no cancel option. Then after a few moments, ads will start running over and over without any way to stop them (though sometimes a Mute button will appear allowing me to mute an ad until it starts running again). I can see the name Adquest appear faintly on the screen. I have tried to turn off the ad but that only takes me to a full screen version of the ad. With Facebook I notice that the ocean scene starts up on the Home page, but if I click over to my own page it stops and then if I go back to the Homepage it does not always reappear. On other sites such as the Huffington Post site, it just appears. I am my wits end and the sites such as Facebook and the HP don't seem to know what is the source. Any suggestions? And remember I am a Mac user and somewhat technologically illiterate. BTW, if I go to the same sites using Safari I don't have this problem. It seems to be connected with Firefox, which I would prefer to use if I can get rid of this problem.
