Mydialsearch got loaded on my computer. I have uninstalled the program, removed the add-on in FF, run Malware bytes and AVG virus but still have a tab on FF for the search engine and it is still listed in the drop down of choices in FF search feature. I have tried removing by deleting in Managing Search Engines. It disappears from list but next time FF is opened it is back as an option and the tab is always at the top. How can I rid my computer/FF of this unwanted search engine malware?

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions and some Preferences.

  • Open websites will not be saved in Firefox versions lower than 25.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
