Can't resize window as earlier after new update for Firefox

This morning Firefox installed an automatic update, and after this I can't resize the window to a smaller proportion. First, let me explain why I do this.

We have a local webpage at work where we can keep track of certain stats, and it's only one area I need to view. This area I used to shrink the FF window, move until it was in my view and freeze it on top of all other windows (custom AHK script).

The problem now is that FF won't resize to the same size, it stops at a certain minimum width. Height is no problem, I can resize the height until it's "gone", but the width stops at a static limit.

Example: Earlier I was able to resize it to 500px width, but now it stops at 700px width and won't go lower. Earlier it could go to, like, 10-20px width.

A bug, or is there a reason for this?
