I deleted an email from the In folder, but, once done, I could not find it in either the Bin or Spam folders. Have you also experienced this?

The email deleted has just completely disappeared. I have Searched for it and have repeatedly scanned both the Bin folder and the Spam one. I concerned because this email was purportedly from eBay and it was asking me to pay for a purchase that I never fully executed.

hello MorganS1, this question doesn't seem to be related to firefox in particular - please refer to Problems with email and how to find help.

thank you

Hi Philipp,

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm not sure what you mean by saying it's not a Firefox issue. Why would it not be? One would think this application would be responsible for storing and labeling all files associated with it.

Also, I found nothing of relevance in the link you sent me. Perhaps you could be more specific.

Best regards, Morgan.

the "application" in this case is running on the server of your webmail-provider. firefox isn't storing any of your emails, but just rendering the page as it's submitted by the web-server - that's why i've provided the article & suggested to contact the support team of your email provider...

Thanks for your suggestion, but I think I would just get the same reply from them (It's a Firefox issue - speak to them). Why is it that I can account for all my other emails but not this one? Does that not sound like an application error to you, as opposed to a server issue?
