A business website has a page that allows me to see items scanned to their server for the last 90 days. The server hosting this page takes more than 1 minute to begin loading to the browser - the back and forth symbol in the browser.

I timed this event today, and Firefox times out after 1 minute. My work around is to use Chrome with the same webpage and it took more than 4 minutes before images started to arrive.

It would be handy to have the timeout adjustable in the settings tab of Firefox. If I choose to sit on what I know is a very slow website for 5 minutes so be it.

Let me know what adjustments I can make - 400mb internet, 5ghz hard wired to the router. This is the slowest site we ever access.

When I go to the website https://www.rebateinternational.com/RebateInternational/contactUs.do and I try to fill out the webform on that page and use autofill to fill in the e-mail address, it gives me an error message that says "please enter a valid email address" even though the e-mail address is valid. Also, if I do not use autofill, but simply type everything in manually, it still gives me that same error message. This problem does not occur in Google Chrome, but it does occur in Firefox. Sometimes I can solve the problem by erasing part of the email address and then re-typing that part, but that doesn't always work. It also doesn't work if I erase the entire e-mail address and type it in manually. The problem does not appear to be caused by add-ons and does not appear to be caused by hardware acceleration, because I have disabled add-ons and have turned off hardware acceleration. It also does not appear to be caused by cache and cookies, because the same problem occurs after I clear the cache and cookies. I will appreciate any response you can provide to help solve this problem.

I've noticed that whenever I press ⌥⇧Space (option-shift-spacebar) in Firefox Developer Edition, it causes the page to refresh.

This behaviour seems to be consistent across devices.

Is there a way to change/disable this behaviour? It is very inconvenient, as it often causes me to accidentally trigger a page refresh when I type an em dash (`—`) in a text input (opt-shift-dash, and then type a space character after it, I'm very likely to hit opt-shift-space by mistake 🙈).

Hello,

on some websites firefox does add one space in front and after copied text. This does not happen with Safari or Chrome:

Example: If you try to copy the movie title you can reproduce the problem: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/212989-lego-ninjago-dragons-rising

Firefox: " LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising (2023) "

Chrome & Safari: "LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising (2023)"

This happens on Windows and MacOS. I did not test Linux or other systems. Firefox Version was 134.0 ARM for MacOS and 133.0.3 64-Bit on windows.

Help!

I do not save all attachments to my received email. It used to be that when I received an email with a attachment I could choose to open or download to a particular file. Now my only choice is to download the file which happens automatically as soon as I click on the attachment. I am using Windows 11 and read my email while it remains on the ACENTEC website. That seems to be a good security move. The email never is downloaded into my computer and remains accessible from any of the several computers I use.
