Latest Windows update (KB2993651) prevents Firefox 31 from running but Firefox 21 works
After installing the latest Windows 7 update (KB2993651), Firefox 31 would no longer work. Kept getting Error Message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022)".
The only way to get Firefox to work was to uninstall Firefox 31 and install an earlier version (Firefox 21). Uninstalling Firefox 31 and then re-installing it did not work.
