Today Firefox quit working. I've cleared cache, flushed DNS, reinstalled about 3 times and each time after installing I keep getting the spinning wheel with "connecting".......but nothing happens. Is there any way I can get some help with this?

Thx, Brett M

Oh got it. In this case it sounds like you may have another program, like a security or firewall, that is blocking Firefox. Did you try the suggestions in this article - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/configure-firewalls-so-firefox-can-access-internet

I'm using Norton, where do I go to see if the firewall is blocking Firefox from working correctly?

Can u tell me which version of norton u r using ?

Not sure what version of Norton I'm using, it's on my home computer......will have to check. The product # is P8X63CYT6YYR, not sure fi that's helpful. If not I will check back w/ you after I confirm the version

it may help u

thanks

Good morning......the Norton version I'm using is Norton 360, Internet Security & AntiVirus for Windows. How do I change the firewall settings to accept Firefox?

Thx

1.Open Norton 360. 2.Click Task & Settings in the main menu. 3.Click Advanced Settings. 4.Click Firewall Protection Settings. 5.Click Firewall Program Rules tab. 6.Select Logic Server in the list. 7.Select Allow (not Auto or Custom) in the Access column beside Logic Server. 8.Click Apply.

On the above, do the same for Firefox / Mozilla anything.
