I use Kaspersky Internet Security...the newest version gave me the option of 3 add-ons which I chose not to install. At that time they showed up grayed out in your extensions section and they were disabled in the plug in section. I did this yesterday 6/29/2015. This morning 6/30/2015 I find that all 3 add-ons have been turned on and I cannot disable them, I am trying to find a way to get them off my pc but so far I have not found an uninstall tool on Kaspersky to do so. I had problems with these the last few weeks and I did a reinstall of my virus protection in order to get them off. I do not wish to do that everyday. But they were disabled and now they are not. Why? and can this be fixed? The 3 are Content Blocker, Virtual Keyboard, and Online Banking KAV.

about:plugins - typed in the URL bar

See the Path for each of those plugins and navigate to that folder, then change the name of each of those plugins.

Like maybe - KasperskywhateverX.dll

That should cause Firefox not to "see" or recognize those plugins. It usually works - at least until the program that installed those files does an update to them and the name is "corrected".
