Hi Using version 40 - auto updated today. This issue was present in previous versions also.

When I open the Options dialog, the list on the left itemizing the various Option catagories is dark text on a dark background. Whoever thought that was a good choice needs their eyes tested - they must be superman type eyes.

As for me, a mere mortal, I need to be able to see the text before I can read it. How, if possible, could I change that particular panel background/foreground to allow me to actually see it?

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here... Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

Hi Thanks for that. In safe mode the text is now readable. I then went on to find that an extension, 'Theme Font & Size Changer' was indeed causing the issue.

Are you using an (inverted) High Contrast theme in Windows?
