Firefox opens and cycles between last window size and full screen a couple of times, then randomly goes to full screen.

I have to use a 32 bit version of firefox on windows 10 to be compatible with zoom text (magnifier/reader). I set a firefox window size, exit firefox, and when I start firefox again, it opens in the correct size and then immediately flashes full screen. It may flash back to the correct window size or remain in full screen. completely random. I've tried disabling javascript, uninstalling and reinstalling.

Good news. I've narrowed the problem down to the Zoom Text magnifier/reader program. For some reason, when its running and not even activated, it causes the erratic behavior of firefox. Now its time to contact AI squared and find out whats going on. Programs acting erratically really is a problem for folks with low vision. Thanks again for your suggestions FredMcD! Starting in safe mode led me to the discovery!

Thanks FredMcD...I tried the suggestions in the link. Opened perfect the first time, then went back to random full screens. Even tried to delete the xulstore.json file, but no luck...

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
