You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If the Places Maintenance extension can't repair the places.sqlite database then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

Not working. I tried everything, but nothing worked. Is there any solution to restore bookmarks from file with extension .jsonlz4?

Is this a file that got created by the same Firefox version that you currently use?

You did remove all places.sqlite file including places.sqlite-shm and places.sqlite-wal while Firefox was closed?

Does this happen with all the compressed .jsonlz4 backups?

Firefox version is not the same as that created backups. Partition that were saved all this data was formatted without saving bookmarks. Then all these data (bookmarks, places.sqlite / -shm / -wal) were recovered using a recovery program. Now when I try to use backups recovered my Firefox displays the error message. I used version converting from .jsonlz4 to .json but did not work. What other solutions might exist?

There is a way to open .jsonlz4 file, or convert it, so as not to corrupt the file and may take links out there?
