Awesome Bar Include Tag Search
I have a lot of bookmarks tagged with "water". When I type "water" in the awesome bar (URL bar) it only displays sites I have visited recently with "water" in the title or part of the URL and it displays bookmarks with "water" in the bookmark title. Instead of this behaviour I understood from what I have read that the awesome bar will also display all of my bookmarks I have tagged with "water".
For information, I can "force" what I want by typing "+ water" in the awesome bar.
So:
1. Is my understanding of how the awesome works wrong or is something broken or
2. Is there a switch in about:config that I can edit to change this behaviour to behave the way I am expecting.

I think that you will have to use the plus prefix to include searching for tags.
Ok thank you for confirming that my understanding was wrong and that the awesome bar does not by default search tags as well.
But what about question number 2. Perhaps there is such an advanced option that we can use to change the behaviour of the awesome bar?
And if not, can we request that you include the option in the next update? It should be a really straight forward addition to the code.

According to a blog post on https://blog.mozilla.org/, back in August 2013, the awesome bar should also be searching tags...

Can anybody from Mozilla chime in?
