I browse a lot of website but just recently in the events of April through May I've been seeing little corruptions appear on the screen, most - about 90% - caused by browsing Tumblr dashboard. These are my specs, http://i.imgur.com/lvbt7A9.png Sometimes its like a small rectangle corruption usually trapped inside the header bar, but recently it just went all the way and decided to do this, http://i.imgur.com/JBqd1pW.png The only real way to temporary remove the corruption so far is to just close the program and re-open your session.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

I tried that yet it hath returneth

See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

I did everything suggested in these previous replies and it still feels like I'm using a 2001 sony tv with mild water damage for a laptop. Can't say it's my laptop that may be damaged since every application other than Firefox does not have this glitch problem; but with the lack of other similar reports of this issue I'm starting to think it may be my laptop - even though I have no other signs of viruses.

Mozilla my boi, please help :'^(

I've been having sort of similar problems here, happens everywhere but most noticeably on tumblr, where boxes will frequently get stuck. Happen in other parts of the interface as well, though, like when I save an image or something, the little download arrow graphic will get stuck.

Seemed to start right after I updated to 47.0

and yes, I do have hardware acceleration disabled.
