Was updating foxfire now i get the small blue shield and i can't load it. tried deleting and reinstalling it but the small blue shield is there won't work

I was updating foxfire and it froze. now I get a small blue/gray security shield that shows up in the foxfire icon. I've tried uninstalling and stalling and the security blue/gray shield keeps showing up and I can't run foxfire.
