I am having problems with some sites redirecting me. For not loading java (I have NoScript running) or being geo restricted. I would like to stop this... and had but when I updated firefox this reverted. Now the option is removed from the options with the removal of 'about:preferences#advanced' and the "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" setting.

I have been looking in the config but that's a bit technical for me. how can I block this now.

Shouldn't be too difficult :

Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) Promise to be careful, if asked (but you probably already knew all that)

Type in the search bar accessilbility and look for the preference : accessibility.blockautorefresh

and set its value to true

Close and restart Firefox.

'Hope that works for you  !
