the prompt to remember passwords is a pain in the @SS i never save passwords for any sites and its annoying as hell to have to tell firefox not to remember or never remember passwords. there is no option to disable this prompt and their should be! while i understand the need for privacy I use multiple machines that are in use by others!

Well, I don't know why you wanna do this but if you want to then go for it -

Never Ask for Saving Logins

Go to the Logins section and follow it.

Uncheck Remember logins & passwords for sites in Options > Privacy & Security. IOW, turn off the Logins Manager.

And quite honestly, PC that are intended to be used by multiple different users should have the Logins feature turned off upon installation. The IT department there deserves to get a wedgie!
