Thunderbird sign in I need to change my email address but it won't let me
I opened my profile as I had an email from Mozilla to say my password had changed. My server has changed their company name and it was only by chance that I received the email from Mozilla. I went to edit my details but it would not let me change my email address, how can I contact Mozilla without my new email address ? If I publish it here.................!!

Any email from Mozilla about passwords would be for a web site password like this forum, or their bug tracker. It will not have anything at all to do with email.
So please state exactly what the problem is. I really have no idea at this point.
Well its not a problem as you have used the up to date email address. The company grew and changed their email address. However, they did not tell us we would still be able to find email via the web entrance !! So for years I was missing quite a lot of emails !!
This email is OK for the momentl but I have changed my provider who has a system that does not work ! So I am still using the webmail system as nothing goes out or comes in with the new one !! When it gets going I shall have to change my email address again

If you change domain hosting companies it can take days for the DNS changes that involve to percolate around the world. in the meantime. the email associated with the domain is virtually in limbo.
