Hi, those are called processes as since version 57 Firefox became a full fledged multi-processor and those are part of Firefox that is running, such as the Sandbox for audio/video and some other things and Extensions/add-ons that are running, browser tabs and windows. Ver 58 became Multi-Tread also. If they add up to under 2 gig of ram that is doing ok, 1.5 even better. If you have a older computer with little ram and lower processor these can be turned down and or turned off please let us know if extreme ram/cpu usage or high heat.
