Hi<br> It seems a recent change from firefox has screwed up youtube and other website video playback behaviour.<br> It used to be that if I opened a video in another tab it would stay paused, and then play as soon as I switch to that tab.<br> Recently (within the last week) it started to keep the videos paused even when I switch, so I have to then manually press on the video's play button.<br> If I reload the page with the video that was paused this way, it becomes paused again.<br> When paused, the video shows an enlarged low-res preview.<br> Additionally I have to press on the video twice if it was in a non-active tab that was re-loaded after I re-opened firefox.<br> In short:<br> Old Behaviour:<br> *open video page in another tab->switch to tab->video plays automatically New Behaviour:<br> *open video page in another tab->switch to tab->video is paused->click on video->video plays *open video page in another tab->close firefox->open firefox->switch to tab->video is paused->click on video->video still paused->click again->video plays <br> <br> <br> I've tried this on youtube, vimeo, dailymotion.<br> I've tried it on two different PCs connected with the same FF account<br> I've tried this in Safe-Mode<br> I've tried this in a Private Window<br> <br> My firefox version is 66.0.2<br> My Windows version is 10 Pro<br> noticed one suspicious thing in about:config<br> app.normandy.startupRolloutPrefs.media.autoplay.default = 1<br>
