Hello,

In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

It would also help if you could include a link to an example page so that we can explore the issue for ourselves.

Thank you!

Ad covers part of text line. Is it Firefox or is it ad failure?

Such issues can happen if you have increased the minimum font size in Options/Preferences or are zooming the page (Zoom Text Only).

If you have made changes to Advanced font size settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the Default font size setting "16" and the Minimum font size setting "none" in case the current setting is causing the problem.

  • Options/Preferences -> General: Fonts & Colors -> Advanced -> Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Options/Preferences -> General: Fonts & Colors -> Advanced
    [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not getting displayed properly.

dBoth of the options suggester are the settings in my browser.

Does that 'glitch' change or go away when the Bookmarks Sidebar is closed?

I can not find an incident in today's website news. Will have to wait till it occurs again.

Just found another incident Closing bookmarks does not change the fact that that a line of text is covered. here is the link to the page that it occurred on. https://www.foxnews.com/us/smollett-cook-county-kim-foxx-double-standard

I'm not seeing any ads on that page, so I it isn't possible to replicate your issue.

You could use the builtin Page Inspector to see what is happening, it looks that some absolute positioning is used for the elements and that the ad frame is higher that expected.
