"Print Preview" and "Print" do not work in recent versions of Firefox, on Windows 10 Pro V 1903, although Chrome and Opera have no problems.

On some web pages File>Print Preview displays only blank pages, while on other pages it simply hangs before displaying any pages (I wait no more than 30 seconds before giving up.) When blank pages are displayed, "Print" will then print blank pages and not what should have been printed. I think this started about when the update to Windows 1903 appeared. As another user has said, I need to be able to see what is going to be printed before I print. All other browsers I have tried seem able to do so.

  • Click the menu button and select Print. The print preview window will appear.
  • In the print preview window, make sure Scale is set to Shrink To Fit.
  • Make sure the Portrait orientation is set.
  • Click Print. ...
  • Make sure the correct printer is shown in the Name field.
  • Click the Page Setup tab.

In the current Firefox Menu, there are separate items for "Print Preview" and for "Print...," and neither of them works. I just installed the newest Firefox and it hangs as soon as I attempt to do a "Print Preview." "Print..." does NOT show any print preview, but it lets me set all the appropriate settings and choose the correct printer. but "Print Preview" still shows only many blank pages (regardless of web site), and "Print..." still only prints a huge number of blank pages (that is, when they don't hang Firefox completely.)
