typing a message is very slow as if buffer is full and needs to be purged

Recently I've noticed that while typing a message, the 'buffered' text on the screen is delayed ,almost 2-3 seconds. OK, I'm a lousy typist (missing finger) so I do a lot of backspacing..... The only way this problem is resloved is to close TB and restart it. It's not a WIN10 problem as all other programs run fine, NO delays in typing. I keep both TB and FF open and maybe 2 other programs, It's as if TB has to 'reorganize' a 'buffer pointer' to then display the correct characters on the screen. If this 'fill in the details is NO problem...... Tb should be fairly recent though Idon't know hte version....say 2-3 months old ? Any help is appreciated...just an annoying bug.... guys/gals that can type would never see this 'quirk'. thanks Jay

My version is 52.9.1 and I just confirmed, closing down, twiddle thumbs, relaunch, typing 'buffer' is fast( normal).
